Feast Ingredient list

Final menu update–here’s a list of all the ingredients for all the feast dishes.
As always, if you have any allergy concerns, please let us know. This list will be posted at Troll and outside of the kitchen.
If there are seats available, you can sign up for feast when you Troll in at the event.

We are so excited for the event! Even if you’re not on a team, you should join us for a weekend of crafting and camaraderie. There will be space available to bring your projects to work on in the company of fellow artisans.

The new site is beautifully spacious inside and out. There is plenty of room to work alongside the teams in the main building, or you can hang out under the outdoor pavilion. We’ll also have a bardic competition in the afternoon.

There will be a lunch of meat pies and fruit available for purchase (limited vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available as well). And you don’t want to miss our Shakespeare-inspired feast!

Come air out your tents before Pennsic, or stay in one of the cabins on site! We are all looking forward to seeing distant friends and reconnecting after this time apart.

Blows were thrown, stiches were sewn, and songs were sung. Now, the battle returns!

Arts & Sciences Activities: 

GARB CONSTRUCTION:  Teams of up to 6 will have from 5:00 pm Friday until 5:00 pm Saturday to construct a complete outfit. (A seventh person can serve as a model only).   Judges shall monitor activity throughout the competition and will use these observations, plus their critiques of the final outfits, in determining a winner. The competition will be limited by the space in the hall to the first 8 teams to register. The winning team will receive a prize basket to share.

BARDIC: There will be a bardic competition! Details will be posted on the Facebook event page and the website.

DISPLAY: There will be an area for static A&S display.

Registration:

  • Teams may sign-up with the autocrat (please include contact info).
  • Site registration:
    • Follow the SCARs link to register for the event, cabin space, and feast (cut-off date is Wednesday, April 20
    • You can also mail registration to the autocrat (post-marked by Monday, April 18)
  • If necessary, refunds for cancellations will be sent within 5 business days after the close of the event.

Site: Camp Fairlee, 22242 Bay Shore Rd., Chestertown, MD 21620. Site opens at

11:30 am on Friday and closes at 11:30 am on Sunday. (campfairlee.com)

Site Restrictions:  No fire pits – fire bowls only. Ashes must be cold and disposed of safely. No original containers please. All animals must be leashed at all times.

Feast Information:  There will be a on Saturday following the end of competition and judging. Feast menu and ingredients will be shared on the Facebook event page and website. Please contact Meleri (Mel Walker) at melanie.walker@accomack.k12.va.us  / 757-824-0284 (home phone)  with any food allergies/concerns.  There will also be a lunch for purchase on Saturday.

Merchanting Information:   Merchants are welcome!  Please contact the autocrat for information.

Other Information:  CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES A hobby-horse race and other activities will be held throughout the day on Saturday.

Directions:

  • Please use site address when getting directions
  • When arriving on site, you must drive or walk down to the main building for Troll. All cars must be parked in the main lot. There are several large, easy to use handcarts for moving items. **Sewing teams may unload at the main building**
